Prior to joining the Alabama Food Bank Association, Laura worked as the Director of Advocacy and Education with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). Before working with the ACFB, Laura served as an attorney with Atlanta Legal Aid Society, on a public health initiative at The Carter Center, and as Associate Vice-President for Programs at the CDC Foundation. Kim Proctor Lawkis serves as the Director of Policy & Programs for the Alabama Food Bank Association. Prior to joining the team at ALFBA, Kim served as the Director of Nutrition Programs at Feeding the Gulf Coast. Kim has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of South Alabama where she serves on the Board of Directors of the National Alumni Association.
